Whereupon We Eat Better…

So we came back from Japan, surprisingly, I did not put on much if any weight. But now, with winter upon us and my willpower still on holiday, I am hearing the warning bells of “eat well, will robinson”. Doesn’t help being sick or having exams, excuses! For the next 5 weeks, I will be back on the healthy bandwagon in attempt to kick start a routine of healthy eating and living again. I feel the need to tell you because it makes me accountable.  So, let’s see… a few basic rules always help:

  1. The no alcohol work week. Starts Monday and ends Friday night.
  2. Exercise 3-4 times a week. 
  3. Attempting on average 4 vegetarian meals out of 10 meals made at home. 
  4. Sticking more or less to a net calorie intake of 1200-1300 a day with 1 day off in the week.  
  5. Moderation, moderation, moderation
  6. Don’t stress out about it, its a lifestyle change and not a quick fix. 

 Ah blah. It’s not a big deal,  I just want to feel fighting fit again rather than sluggish.  That is all.
